Thank Arsenal for Helping Rescued Animals Heal

When we think of professional soccer clubs, we usually think about championships, star players, and thrilling matches.

But Arsenal Football Club has given animal lovers something else to cheer about.

Instead of discarding unwanted team socks, Arsenal donated them to Redwings Horse Sanctuary, where they are being used to help rescued horses and donkeys. The socks can help hold bandages in place, protect sensitive legs from flies, and support animals recovering from medical treatment.

For rescued horses and donkeys facing health challenges and injuries, even small acts of care can make a tremendous difference. And Arsenal's creative donation is proving that something as simple as a soccer sock can help vulnerable animals stay comfortable and recover.
