Agriculture Secretary Rollins just celebrated kicking 4 million people off of federal nutrition assistance. She said that losing the support millions rely on for healthy food to feed themselves and their families will put them closer to realizing "the American dream." In reality, losing SNAP benefits at the same time grocery prices are rising means kids, veterans, people with disabilities, the unhoused, older adults, and working families will go hungry. It’s unacceptable for anyone in the United States to lack access to healthy food. Tell the Senate: "Restore nutritional benefits and defend every family’s right to put food on the table." In April, the House of Representatives passed the Farm Bill without including measures to restore food assistance. Now, the bill goes to the Senate, where we have an opportunity to restore SNAP benefits. Together, we can show our senators that we won’t stand by while our most vulnerable go hungry. Add your name to make sure everyone has access to the food they need to survive and thrive. The petition to the Senate reads: "Restore food aid for millions and defend every family’s right to put food on the table."
