The Trump administration just announced yet another plan to dismantle climate science. This time the National Science Foundation is removing over 900 instruments used to monitor the effects of climate change on our oceans. The data these instruments collect is critical to tracking how close ocean currents are to climate tipping points that would cause extreme global weather changes. Tell Congress to investigate Trump's attacks on climate science and stop him from dismantling the climate research we need to protect the planet. For years Donald Trump has made it one of his top priorities to deny climate change. From pulling out of the Paris Climate agreement, to ending clean energy investments, Trump wants to help his polluter friends make money by destroying the planet. Now he’s coming after our science. We can’t let him. Congress must ensure climate research continues. Add your name now before our climate data is gone. The petition to Congress reads: "Investigate Trump’s attacks on climate science. Ensure we continue the National Science Foundation’s ocean monitoring and all critical research needed to understand the effects of climate change and to prepare for future impacts."
