CNN just handed a microphone to one of America’s most discredited warmongers — and treated him like a credible foreign policy expert.

John Bolton helped sell the lies that dragged the United States into the catastrophic Iraq War. He has spent decades agitating for regime change, military escalation, and war with Iran. 

Now, as Donald Trump’s illegal war with Iran threatens even more bloodshed, CNN is giving Bolton airtime to argue against peace.

CNN has a responsibility to inform the public, not launder the reputations of people who have been catastrophically wrong about war over and over again.

Tell CNN: Stop booking John Bolton and other discredited pro-war hacks as foreign policy experts.

This matters because media choices shape public debate. When networks elevate architects and cheerleaders of failed wars, they normalize the same reckless thinking that got us into those wars in the first place. 

Viewers deserve context, accountability, and credible analysis — not recycled propaganda from people who keep demanding more bombs.

Foreign policy is a matter of life and death. The people invited to explain it on national television should be held to the highest standard, especially when American troops, Iranian civilians, and the risk of a wider war are all on the line.

CNN would not treat a disgraced financial scammer as a trusted retirement expert. It should not treat a long-discredited warmonger as a trusted voice on war and peace.
