Climate disasters are only getting worse and we need leaders to act now. The Pacific Climate Warriors are sending a message to world leaders ahead of COP29 and here in the US, you can add your voice. 

President Biden holds the power to meet this moment with the urgency and importance it deserves by declaring a climate emergency.

To President Biden:

All across the country, people are experiencing extreme climate-related disasters: deadly tornadoes on Memorial Day weekend, sweeping wildfires in California, storms strong enough to blow out office windows in Houston, and now we've witnessed entire communities devastated by Hurricane Helene.

And it’s only going to get worse, unless we meet this moment with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. 

As president, you, President Biden, hold the power to choose what happens next. By declaring a climate emergency, you can marshal the resources both to keep people safe during extreme climate disasters and to put us on a path toward a clean energy future.
