Thank Dem. Lawmakers for Fighting to Rehire Fired Veterans!

We extend our gratitude to Senators Tammy Duckworth, Andy Kim, and Representative Derek Tran for standing up for our nation’s veterans and introducing the Protect Veteran Jobs Act. This vital legislation would require the Trump administration to reinstate veterans who were unjustly laid off and to report on future veteran job losses within the federal workforce.

Veterans have sacrificed for our country, and many have continued their service by working in federal agencies. Yet, under President Trump and Elon Musk’s sweeping workforce cuts, thousands of veterans have been unfairly terminated, leaving them without jobs, income, and stability. These cuts not only harm those who served but also weaken critical agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Protect Veteran Jobs Act sends a clear message: our veterans deserve better. We urge Congress to pass this bill and ensure that those who served our nation are not abandoned by the very government they fought to protect.
