Thank Congress For Demanding Release of Boat Strike Videos

The truth about the murder of Venezuelans in the Caribbean is being hidden from the American people — and Congress is finally fighting back.

For months, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has refused to release video of deadly boat strikes and potential war crimes. Americans want answers. Lawmakers want oversight. But Hegseth keeps stonewalling.

Now Congress is turning up the heat. Lawmakers have tied Hegseth’s travel budget to releasing the footage — a rare, aggressive move reserved for the most serious obstruction. Now, we need to show them our support to ensure they hold firm.

Tell Congress: “Thank you for demanding the release of the boat strike footage. Keep fighting for full transparency and ensure the American people finally learn the truth.”

The Trump administration ordered illegal strikes, people were killed, and the public still has no clear account of what happened. Without the footage, there’s no transparency, no accountability, and no way to ensure this never happens again.

This is why Congress needs to hear from us right now. Though the House has passed the bill putting pressure on Hegseth, the Senate still needs to vote. There’s no doubt that the Trump administration will push them to remove the critical provisions and demand the House back down.

Thanking Congress today will show them we’re paying attention — and we expect them to continue holding the Pentagon accountable.

Add your name to thank lawmakers for demanding the boat strike videos — and urge them to keep pushing until the footage is released.

The petition to Congress reads: “Thank you for demanding the release of the boat strike footage. Keep fighting for full transparency and ensure the American people finally learn the truth.”
