This vital support ensures millions of patients can continue to access cancer screenings, birth control, STI testing, prenatal care, and safe abortion services — no matter their income or ZIP code.

Governor Newsom made it clear: “Trump’s efforts to defund Planned Parenthood put all our communities at risk as people seek basic health care from these community providers.” California’s action stands as a beacon of resistance and a model of what true leadership looks like — prioritizing people’s health, dignity, and freedom over extremist politics.
