The so-called “Fix Our Forests” Act would open the floodgates for unwarranted logging and roll back protections for endangered species. The Fix Our Forests Act will undermine core environmental protection laws, namely the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Exempting a sweeping range of "vegetation management activities" from environmental review on millions of acres of federal land will ultimately result in leaving irreplaceable forest at risk from reckless logging projects. I strongly urge you to protect our forests by voting "no" on the Fix Our Forests Act.
