Joe Manchin is making a last-ditch effort to pass his Dirty Deal bill before he leaves office in January. The Dirty Deal is a dangerous fossil fuel giveaway and it must be stopped. We’ve come together to stop the Dirty Deal before — and if we fight hard together, we can stop it again.

Message to your senators:

The “Energy Permitting Reform Act of 2024” was recently reintroduced by Sen. Joe Manchin, and it’s his last-ditch attempt to pass his permitting reform giveaway to the fossil fuel industry before he leaves office.

It would allow the oil and gas industry to more easily force through dirty, dangerous fossil fuel projects in any community where they want to build them, limiting the voice of the public in the process and gutting bedrock environmental regulations. It’s been condemned by both frontline communities and politicians from both sides of the aisle, and it must be stopped for the sake of people and the planet.

I urge you to vote NO and reject Manchin’s fossil fuel permitting bill.
