Tell USPS: Don’t Suppress Votes. Deliver Every Ballot.

The Postal Service has one job: deliver the mail. That includes our ballots.

But Postmaster General David Steiner has reportedly opened the door to refusing delivery of lawful mail ballots in states that do not comply with Donald Trump’s voter-data scheme. That would turn USPS from a trusted public service into a weapon of voter suppression.

States are already fighting back at the Supreme Court to block Trump’s order. But we do not have to wait for the Court to act. If USPS leadership is willing to endanger mail voting before the 2026 midterms, the USPS Board of Governors must step in now.

Tell the USPS Board of Governors: Stop this immediately. Remove Postmaster General David Steiner unless he guarantees that USPS will deliver every lawful mail ballot.

Millions of Americans rely on mail voting to exercise their freedom to vote: seniors, disabled voters, rural voters, military families, caregivers, students, and working people who cannot simply stand in line on Election Day.

Blocking their ballots is voter suppression in a postal uniform.

Trump has spent years attacking mail voting because he knows democracy is stronger when more people participate. Now he wants the Postal Service dragged into his anti-voter crusade. The USPS Board must not let that happen.

The Board oversees postal leadership. It can demand that Steiner protect USPS’s nonpartisan mission. And if he will not, it can remove him before he helps sabotage the 2026 midterms.

Mail ballots are not Trump’s to block. They are voters’ voices — and USPS must deliver them.

Every lawful ballot must be delivered. Every voter deserves to be heard. No president, postmaster general, or political appointee should be allowed to tamper with the mail to silence Americans.
