Tell the FCC: Don’t Let Internet Providers Rip Us Off

The FCC just voted to help internet providers rip you off.

Trump’s FCC chair Brendan Carr just won a vote to gut the “broadband nutrition labels” — the rules that made companies show what you’re actually paying for. Now Comcast, AT&T, and Spectrum can hide junk fees and made-up charges in the fine print again.

It’s legalized deception, and it means higher bills for everyone.

Tell FCC Commissioners: “Don’t let internet providers rip us off. Restore broadband price transparency now.”

Broadband labels worked. They exposed the “network access fees,” “regulatory recovery charges,” and “modem rental surcharges” that padded bills by 30% or more. The only problem was that the labels were often hidden by Big Telecom.

But instead of increasing transparency and protecting consumers, the FCC caved to lobbyists and killed the rule.

We can stop it — but only if the public pushes back fast. The first broadband label rule only happened because millions of us demanded it. We can save it again — if we speak out now.

Add your name today to demand the FCC protect people, not profiteers.

The petition to FCC commissioners reads: “Don’t let internet providers rip us off. Restore broadband price transparency now.”
