Tell the EPA: Restore the Truth About Climate Change

The EPA just erased the truth — and handed polluters a massive gift.

Overnight, the agency scrubbed its website of clear statements that fossil fuels cause climate change. Key pages on global warming, greenhouse gases, and the scientific consensus disappeared. It’s a political purge, not an update.

Scientists worldwide are calling out the U.S. for trying to rewrite basic facts in the middle of a climate emergency. The U.S. now looks ridiculous for deleting the role of oil and gas from its own climate pages. Even long-standing educational materials were gutted — leaving the public with watered-down propaganda.

We can’t let the EPA bury science to protect polluters. Tell EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin: “Restore the truth about climate change. Put the deleted science back online and stop political interference in the nation’s climate data.”

When the EPA hides the truth, families lose the information they need to survive extreme heat, pollution, and flooding. And fossil fuel corporations get exactly what they’ve spent decades pushing for: confusion, silence, and a government too afraid to name the cause of the crisis.

Public outrage matters — especially right now. EPA career staff are already under immense pressure, and every signature makes it harder for political appointees to keep censoring climate science.

If we push back immediately, we can force the agency to restore the deleted pages and end this dangerous cover-up.

Add your name to demand the EPA restore the truth about climate change. It’s time to reinstate the deleted findings and guarantee the public’s right to accurate, honest climate information.

The petition to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin reads: “Restore the truth about climate change. Put the deleted science back online and stop political interference in the nation’s climate data.”
