Tell the EPA: Protect Our Water from Factory Farm Pollution

The EPA just walked away from new limits on toxic pollution from meat and poultry processing plants—despite years of evidence proving these standards would keep millions of pounds of waste out of our rivers, streams, and drinking water.

Without these protections, nitrogen and phosphorus (which create dead zones), E. coli from animal waste, and other dangerous contaminants will continue pouring into waterways and threatening public health. EPA’s own research shows the technology exists to cut this pollution. The agency simply chose not to act.

We’re demanding the EPA reverse this decision, set strong, science-based pollution limits, and put clean water and community health above industry pressure.
