Tell the EPA: Do Your Job. Comment by Nov. 2

The Trump administration just announced dangerous plans to repeal the EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas pollution from power plants, which are responsible for one-quarter of U.S. carbon emissions. If this proposal is finalized, coal and gas plants would have free rein to spew climate pollution unchecked.

The consequences would be severe. We would see more unnatural disasters, from devastating floods and wildfires to deadly heat waves. We would breathe dirtier air, with more asthma attacks and respiratory illness, especially in communities already overburdened by pollution. And families would pay more, from healthcare bills to rising homeowners' insurance rates.

The EPA has opened a public comment period until Nov. 2. Submit your comment and tell the EPA to do its job.
