Tell the DOJ: Investigate the Ohio GOP's Voter Purge Scheme

Ohio Republicans are purging thousands of voters from the rolls in a blatant attempt to suppress votes ahead of the upcoming election. 

Now, a new watchdog report reveals that Ohio’s voter purge disproportionately targets voters of color, with over half of the potentially purged voters registered in counties where the majority of the population is people of color. This is not just an administrative move—it’s a direct attack on democracy.

Experts are pushing back, calling these purges unnecessary and harmful. Pierrette Talley, Executive Director of the Ohio Unity Coalition, points out that this is "disproportionately impacting voters of color," many of whom have long been disenfranchised by discriminatory barriers.
