Tell the Biden Admin: Cleaner Cars Now

Scientists warned us for decades that continuing to burn fossil fuels would lead to higher temperatures and other extreme impacts. It’s happening right now.

That’s why the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) proposed new fuel economy standards that would require car and light truck manufacturers to increase efficiency each year through 2032.

The bad news is, these updated Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards aren’t as strong as they should be – and we don’t have any time to waste when it comes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The good news is, the NHTSA is accepting public comments on their latest proposal for CAFE, giving us a golden opportunity to demand the strongest possible standards.

Sign the petition calling on the Biden Administration to make the clean car standards as strong as possible!
