Tell Republicans: Hands Off Medicaid!

Republicans in Congress are once again trying to take health care access away from the American people.

This time, they're attacking Medicaid, which provides free health insurance to tens of millions of low-income Americans and people living with disabilities.

That's according to a new analysis from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, which found that House Republicans' debt limit bill could take Medicaid access away from 10 million people.

In its analysis, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities noted the disastrous consequences people face when Medicaid is taken away from them.

"When people lose Medicaid, they lose access to preventive and acute care as well as medications and other therapies for managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes or depression," CBPP noted.

"Losing access to healthcare can lead to serious health consequences and financial strain, making it harder for people to engage in the workforce successfully."
