Tell P&G: Stop Flushing Old-Growth Forests for Profit

P&G has a new CEO. That means a new chance to demand the company stop destroying irreplaceable forests for toilet paper.

Every year, more than 1 million acres of Canada’s boreal forest are clearcut — much of it for disposable products like Charmin toilet paper and paper towels.

These forests are irreplaceable. They store billions of tons of carbon, provide habitat for threatened wildlife like boreal caribou, and sustain Indigenous communities who have called the forest home for millennia.

P&G knows better alternatives exist — its own Charmin Ultra Bamboo product proves it. And competitors like Kimberly-Clark have already committed to moving away from old-growth and primary forest fibers.

Now it’s P&G’s turn. With a new CEO at the helm, this is the moment to make our voices heard.
