Tell OH lawmakers: Abolish the racist death penalty now

Join us to urge Ohio lawmakers to support legislation that would end the death penalty in Ohio once and for all! (House Bill 259 and Senate Bill 101)

According to a new report by the Death Penalty Information Center, a history of racial violence and bias continues to shape Ohio’s current death penalty. From the state’s 19th century Black Laws, to racial terror lynchings at the turn of the 20th century, to the overrepresentation of Black youth on Ohio’s death row today, it’s clear that the death penalty is broken beyond repair. 

It’s time to abolish the death penalty!
