Tell Media Outlets: Stop Parroting Trump's Lies

More and more Americans are paying attention to Project 2025, the far-right effort to radically reshape the federal government and keep Republicans in power for decades.

On Friday, Donald Trump posted on social media that he knows nothing about Project 2025 and that he has nothing to do with it.

That’s an obvious lie. Some of Trump’s top advisors, like Stephen Miller and Johnny McEntee, are top architects of the Project 2025 agenda. And Trump’s SuperPAC is running ads promoting Project 2025, calling it “Trump’s Project 2025.”

Countless political reporters – including some who scrutinize Pres. Biden’s every move – are taking Trump’s lie at face value and helping spread the lie that Trump has nothing to do with Project 2025.

Jim Vandehei, the CEO of Axios and a co-founder of Politico, commented that “Trump torches Heritage Foundation's Project 2025.” CNN’s Andy Kaczynski reported that “Trump is distancing himself from Heritage’s Project 2025.” Semafor news also falsely reported that “Trump is distancing himself” from the far-right effort.

The media’s failure to call out Trump’s lies helped him get elected in 2016. We can’t allow that to happen again. Sign the petition urging media outlets to stop parroting Trump’s lies.
