This week, Newsmax host Greg Kelly claimed that the Department of Justice “owes Donald Trump one billion dollars,” echoing a broader effort in right-wing media to portray legitimate investigations as personal attacks. These false and sensational claims aren’t journalism. This propaganda erodes public trust and confuses accountability with persecution.
