Trump's EPA is trying to silence the voices of the people speaking out against AI data centers — even as public opposition against AI is growing across the country.

Trump and EPA administrator Lee Zeldin plan to eliminate a federal requirement for states to publicize and gather public input before developing new data centers and the power plants needed to run them. They're also scheming to allow construction to start before developers have necessary air permits. If these proposals are finalized, it will give Trump's Big Tech and Big Oil buddies a free pass to spew toxic pollution that causes asthma, respiratory illnesses, heart disease, cancer, and other serious health issues. All while taking away your right to know what's happening in your own backyard and to speak out — but we won't be silenced.
