Tell Kristi Noem: Stop Withholding FEMA Funds

When disaster strikes, families deserve compassion—not cruelty. Yet across the country, families devastated by floods and storms are still waiting for relief. Homes are unlivable, schools are closed, hospitals remain in ruins.

Under Trump and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, FEMA has been twisted into a tool to reward allies and punish opponents. Injustice is being cemented into policy.

Every day of delay means more suffering, more displacement, and more despair. We need to build pressure on DHS Secretary Noem to end the delays now.

Tell DHS Secretary Kristi Noem: “Stop withholding FEMA funds from blue states and families in need. Don’t use disaster relief as a political weapon.”

Disaster relief shouldn’t be a partisan favor—it is a sacred promise. Taxpayers fund FEMA to protect every community, not just the ones politicians choose. As Bloomberg warned, recovery must never become “a presidential spoils system.” Anything less is a moral failure.

Secretary Noem has a choice. She can honor her duty to deliver aid swiftly and fairly, or continue using disaster relief as a weapon of division. True leadership means compassion before politics, justice before power.

The cost is unbearable. Parents can’t find safe shelter for their children. Workers are losing jobs and paychecks while communities are left abandoned. We cannot allow this betrayal to stand. Lives are at stake, and every moment wasted deepens the harm.

Sign this petition to demand that DHS Secretary Kristi Noem immediately release FEMA funds to communities in need. Disaster relief belongs to the people, not the politicians.

The petition to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem reads: “Stop withholding FEMA funds from blue states and families in need. Don’t use disaster relief as a political weapon.”
