Tell Illinois AG: Investigate ICE and CBP Misconduct

Donald Trump’s federal agents turned Chicago into a war zone — and they did it in open defiance of the law.

Armed ICE and CBP officers stormed neighborhoods without warrants, pointed guns at U.S. citizens, and unleashed tear gas — even after a federal court explicitly banned it. A top Trump official ordered the gas attacks anyway. One ICE agent even told a Chicago resident, “You’re dead, liberal,” before shoving him to the ground.

Attorney General Kwame Raoul has the power to act right now: open a state investigation, subpoena records, and hold every agent and official involved accountable under Illinois civil rights law. If the federal government won’t clean up its mess, the state must.
