Cancer-causing chemicals have no place in the food we eat or serve our families. But a recent EDF analysis found that the FDA still allows 25 chemicals linked to cancer to be used in America’s food system, including in ingredients, processing agents, packaging materials and more. These chemicals can put consumers and workers at risk, even though federal law is supposed to protect the public from cancer-causing food additives. FDA has the authority and responsibility to act. Every day the agency delays, people may continue to be exposed to chemicals that do not belong in our food supply. Add your name today to urge the FDA to follow the law, protect public health and get cancer-causing chemicals out of our food.
