Nebraska has already started kicking people off Medicaid under Trump’s work requirements. 40,000 Nebraskans are already at risk, and millions more will soon follow nationally.

Dr. Oz and the Trump administration created a paperwork trap for live-saving Medicaid coverage, forcing people to provide documentation to prove they are working, volunteering, studying, or exempt just to keep the healthcare they need to survive.

People who already work can still lose coverage if their hours change, their paperwork is late, or the state system cannot verify them. And caregivers, gig workers, seasonal workers, people with chronic illness, and people too sick to navigate bureaucracy can all get caught in the trap.

It's time to fight back. Tell CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz: Pause Medicaid work requirements now and stop states from kicking eligible people off healthcare because of red tape.

Medicaid saves lives. It pays for prescriptions, doctor visits, cancer treatment, mental healthcare, disability care, and hospital care. Taking it away does not make people healthier or more employed. It makes them sicker, poorer, and more desperate.
