That’s why transitioning our country to carbon-free energy sources like wind and solar is absolutely imperative—and Congress can help make that happen by passing a national 100% clean electricity standard.

Polling shows Americans want a clean-powered future, with two-thirds of voters in support of moving the country to a 100% clean electricity grid by 2035.1 Across all backgrounds, zip codes, and political parties, Americans are ready for a prosperous future and a country powered by 100% clean, pollution-free electricity. 

Across the U.S., 200 communities, 10 school districts, and 8 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico have committed to powering their communities with 100% clean, renewable energy—and nearly 100 communities are already completely powered by 100% clean electricity.2 Now it’s time for the federal government to step up and set the same bold goals for the entire country.
