Tell Congress to Ban Congressional Stock Trading Now!

Representative Rob Bresnahan dumped thousands in stock from Centene — a major Medicaid provider — right before voting for devastating Medicaid cuts. This isn't just unethical. It's corrupt.

Members of Congress are supposed to serve the public, not profit off our pain. Yet time and again, we’ve seen lawmakers buy and sell stocks with insider knowledge, vote on legislation that directly impacts their portfolios, and walk away richer while the rest of us suffer. A recent New York Times investigation revealed that bipartisan attempts to ban this behavior keep stalling — because too many in Congress benefit from the status quo.

This could be our last chance to fix it.

Public pressure is the only thing that will force action. When we raise our voices together, we shine a spotlight lawmakers can’t ignore. That’s how we build momentum. That’s how we hold them accountable.

There is already bipartisan legislation on the table, including the STOCK Act 2.0 and the Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act, that would prohibit lawmakers from owning or trading individual stocks while in office. But they're sitting in committee, collecting dust. We need to demand a vote — before it's too late.

Congress must ban stock trading for all members—immediately. No more self-dealing. No more backroom profits. No more putting private wealth ahead of public health.

Sign now to demand Congress ban stock trading for its members. The public is watching—and we won’t forget who stood up for us and who sold us out.
