A federal appeals court just revived Donald Trump’s plan to sabotage mail-in voting during this November’s all-important midterm elections. Under Trump’s plan, the U.S. Postal Service will refuse to deliver ballots from voters whose names aren’t listed on a Trump-approved national eligible voter list. The plan is so flagrantly illegal that it was almost immediately blocked by a federal district judge. But then, a three-judge panel — including two Republican-appointed judges — lifted the order blocking Trump’s attack on mail-in voting, threatening to disenfranchise millions of Americans who plan to cast their ballots by mail this November. Now Trump is asking the Supreme Court to make the final call. Make no mistake: Trump is trying to sabotage the midterms because he has the lowest approval rating of any president this century, and he knows that he can’t win any other way. We will not let him get away with it.
