Tell Congress: Stop Hegseth's Purge. Let Trans Troops Serve.

A federal appeals court just dealt a major blow to Pete Hegseth’s purge of transgender troops — but Hegseth and Trump are still trying to force qualified service members out.

The court ruled that the Trump administration’s transgender military ban cannot be enforced against the service members who challenged it. That should have ended this. Instead, Hegseth and Trump are fighting to keep restrictions in place, dragging transgender troops through more fear and uncertainty while shutting out future recruits.

No one who is qualified, capable, and willing to serve should be pushed out of the military or blocked from joining because of their gender identity.

Tell Congress: Stop Trump and Hegseth’s purge, protect transgender service members, and guarantee that qualified transgender Americans can serve openly and safely.

This ban was never about readiness. It was about cruelty, discrimination, and turning patriotic service members into political targets.

Trans troops have already proven their commitment. They have trained, deployed, led, sacrificed, and served this country. They should not have to defend their right to wear the uniform every time anti-LGBTQ politicians want a culture-war fight.

If Hegseth refuses to follow the law and respect transgender troops, Congress must use its power to stop him.
