Tell Congress: Restore Vehicle Fuel Efficiency Standards

Donald Trump just handed Big Oil exactly what it wanted — and stuck every driver in America with the bill.

This month, Trump moved to slash vehicle fuel efficiency standards. It will force families to burn billions more gallons of gas so oil companies can keep cashing in. 

If Congress doesn’t act fast, working families will pay the price for decades with higher costs at the pump and dirtier air.

Tell Congress: “Restore strong vehicle fuel efficiency standards. Reverse Trump’s reckless rollback and put working families, clean air, and climate justice first.”

Here’s what Trump won’t say: any tiny drop in sticker prices gets wiped out almost immediately by higher fuel costs. 

Rural drivers, long-distance commuters, and low-income families will suffer the most. And communities already exposed to pollution will breathe even dirtier air.

Congress can stop this. Lawmakers can overturn Trump’s rollback, restore strong fuel efficiency rules, and defend clean-car standards that save families money and cut pollution. But they won’t act unless we speak out — loudly, and right now.
