Tell Congress: Restore SNAP Cuts Before Kids Starve

Across the country, food banks are being pushed to the brink—and it’s no coincidence. President Trump’s so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” just gutted $186 billion from SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, stripping millions of families of the support they need to survive.

The consequences are immediate and devastating. College students, low-income workers, parents, and seniors are already wondering how they’ll make ends meet. Food banks from New York to California are reporting record demand they simply can’t meet.

According to Politico, the new law raises the work-eligible age from 54 to 64 and imposes harsh new restrictions on parents with school-aged children, leaving countless households without the means to put food on the table.

This is cruelty, plain and simple. And we must fight back, before children, families, workers, seniors, and everyday people starve.

Tell Congress: “Restore funding to SNAP and roll back bureaucracy that will make Americans starve. Make sure kids – and all of us – have access to the food we need to survive.”

Every signature on this petition sends a clear message to Congress: restore full SNAP funding and eliminate the inhumane work requirements now. Our communities depend on it, and the stakes could not be higher.

We must act now—before another meal is missed, before another family is forced to choose between rent and groceries. Add your name to demand Congress undo these cruel SNAP cuts and protect the right to food for all.

The petition to Congress reads: “Restore funding to SNAP and roll back bureaucracy that will make Americans starve. Make sure kids – and all of us – have access to the food we need to survive.”
