Tell Congress: Reject Trump's Mass Surveillance

Congress is days away from renewing Trump’s warrantless spying — and we need you to help stop it.

Section 702 — a part of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) that allows the government to collect communications without a warrant — expires on April 20. Instead of reining it in, lawmakers are rushing to renew it right as Trump sits in the White House.

The Trump administration is pressuring Congress to act fast, without real safeguards. We have to push back immediately.

Under Section 702, agencies like the FBI can search for Americans’ information without going to a judge. Courts have found repeated abuses of these searches.

Section 702 surveillance has been used to monitor activists, including Black Lives Matter organizers. This is a system with a track record of overreach — and renewing it without reform locks those abuses in place.

Trump has already threatened political opponents and targeted protesters. Renewing this system without safeguards risks leaving powerful surveillance tools open to abuse.
