Trump’s attacks on free speech just keep escalating, and not even our veterans are safe. The FBI just arrested Afghanistan war hero Bajun Mavalwalla II for "conspiracy" after he joined a peaceful protest against ICE operations, threatening him with 6 years in prison for exercising his First Amendment rights. Mavalwalla survived a roadside bomb while serving on special operations missions in Afghanistan, only to face federal prosecution for peaceful demonstration at home. Legal experts warn this represents a dangerous escalation against constitutional protections. Veterans who defended our freedoms abroad deserve protection at home. Defend the free speech rights of every American.
