Tell Congress: Protect Trees, Not Billboards!

Did you know that in 32 states it's legal for outdoor advertising companies to cut down publicly owned trees just to make their billboards more visible? These highway buffer trees serve a critical purpose, protecting residences and businesses located near the roads from noise, light, and other forms of pollution. Plus, they help absorb pollution and runoff from the roads, keeping our skies and waterways cleaner and healthier, thus improving our quality of life. 

Tell Congress to take action to protect these publicly owned trees from being maimed and destroyed simply to make way for clearer views of unsightly and unsafe billboards.
