Tell Congress: pass the Energy Bills Relief Act

Energy bills are rising twice as fast as inflation — and the Trump administration is making it worse.

Over the past year, the administration has canceled clean energy projects, handed billions in giveaways to fossil fuel companies, and blocked the affordable, reliable clean energy that would actually drive costs down for American families. At the same time, unchecked AI data centers are running on dirty diesel, guzzling water, and keeping fossil fuel plants online — with the administration's blessing. The Energy Bills Relief Act (EBRA) is the commonsense solution Congress needs to act on now. It reinstates the clean energy tax credits that Trump and congressional Republicans killed, expands access to community solar, modernizes the grid to meet surging electricity demand, and supports weatherization and energy efficiency programs that lower household energy bills. And critically, it ensures that large energy consumers like AI data centers are paying their own way — not driving up costs for everyone else. Clean energy — the fastest, most affordable energy source available — would finally be allowed to do what it does best: lower costs and cut pollution.
