Tell Congress: No Health Care Cuts to Fund the Iran War

Republicans are weighing cuts to Medicaid and ACA subsidies to offset a $200 billion budget bill for the war in Iran. We have to stop them now.

House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington has already floated specific proposals. Leadership is actively making the math work — and the math means cutting care from American families.

The war is unpopular. Over 60 percent of Americans disapprove. Even some Republicans have raised objections, questioning the cost and the lack of clear objectives. And yet leadership is pressing forward, asking ordinary Americans to pay for it with their health coverage — the same playbook used last year, when Republicans cut nearly a trillion dollars from health care to fund tax breaks for the wealthy.

But Congress can stop this, if we build the pressure needed to make it happen.

Sign the petition to demand your representatives reject any health care cuts in the Iran war spending bill, and vote no on a blank check for a war without a mission.
