Tell Congress: Make Corporate Price-Gougers Testify

Voters just handed Democrats a massive victory because they're sick of paying more and getting less. Now it's time to make corporate America answer for it.

Explosive new reporting reveals that Democrats have a 181-page roadmap for investigating corporate abuses, prepared by the progressive Groundwork Collaborative. It identifies hundreds of potential investigation targets, from grocery chains accused of exploiting consumer data to landlords piling on junk fees and companies using algorithms to manipulate prices.

While families struggle to afford the basics, corporate executives are making decisions behind closed doors that could be costing Americans billions. Congress has the power to pry those doors open, demand the records, and make CEOs answer tough questions under oath.

Tell Congress: Subpoena corporate CEOs and expose how they're ripping off American families.

Congress needs to drag hidden pricing schemes into the spotlight and use the findings to demand tougher consumer protections. These investigations could reveal how corporations set prices, how they're exploiting consumers, and who's profiting from abusive practices.

But there's a catch: Some Democrats are already pushing to scale back corporate investigations. After voters delivered a massive mandate to tackle the affordability crisis, lawmakers are considering going easy on the very corporations accused of making life more expensive.

Americans didn't vote to give corporate CEOs another free pass. They demanded change. The question now is whether our leaders have the guts to use their power to bring accountability.

Every day Congress delays, families keep paying the price.

Add your name: Demand that Congress subpoena corporate executives, expose abusive pricing schemes, and hold companies accountable for ripping off American families.

The petition to Congress reads:

“Launch aggressive investigations into corporate price gouging. Subpoena executives and internal pricing records, compel CEOs to testify under oath, expose abusive practices, and hold companies accountable for exploiting American families.”
