Tell Congress: Investigate the DOJ’s January 6 Cover-Up

The Department of Justice just tried to rewrite history — and Congress must stop it.

Two career prosecutors have been placed on leave for calling January 6 what it was in court filings: a riot. Then Trump’s DOJ appointees quietly edited those filings, scrubbing “riot” and replacing it with “demonstration.”

Let’s be clear: January 6 was a violent attack on democracy. Police officers were beaten. Lawmakers fled for their lives. But now the Trump Justice Department is trying to bury that truth to protect the people who caused it.

Tell Congress: “Investigate the DOJ’s censorship, expose the cover-up, and defend the truth: January 6 was a riot, and America deserves justice.”

Congress has the power — and the duty — to uncover what happened. 

The House and Senate Judiciary Committees must hold public hearings, subpoena the officials behind the edits, and demand the release of the unaltered records. Every day they wait, the truth slips further into the shadows.

If we let this stand, Trump and his allies will erase the facts, silence honest prosecutors, and rewrite history to suit their lies.
