Tell Congress: Investigate Fossil Fuel Insider Trading

The Trump administration promised to "drain the swamp"—but fossil fuel billionaires are profiting from insider access.
Venture Global LNG founders Robert Pender and Michael Sabel bought $24 million in company stock just days after meeting with Energy Secretary Chris Wright and other Trump officials in March. Days later, Wright granted their company a crucial export license.

This follows a pattern: Venture Global donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration and spent $1.67 million on lobbying in 2024-2025. One founder attended Trump's Mar-a-Lago meeting where he reportedly requested $1 billion from fossil fuel executives in exchange for favorable policies.

The timing of these stock purchases and government actions raises serious questions about potential insider trading and conflicts of interest.Congress must investigate whether fossil fuel billionaires are illegally profiting from insider access to the Trump administration. Americans deserve transparency and accountability.
