Tell Congress: Investigate Army Flyover For Kid Rock

We are calling on Congress to investigate the use of U.S. Army Apache helicopters at Kid Rock's Nashville mansion and demand full accountability.

On March 28, two AH-64 Apache attack helicopters from the 101st Airborne Division flew low-altitude maneuvers around the 27,000-square-foot estate of Robert Ritchie — known as Kid Rock — a prominent Trump supporter who calls his home the "Southern White House." He posted videos of himself saluting and clapping poolside as the helicopters hovered. The aircrew has since been suspended.

The Army claims the flight was a routine training run and the stop was coincidental. Kid Rock says the pilots will be fine because his "buddy is the Commander-in-Chief."

That is the problem.

Every hour those Apache helicopters are in the air costs taxpayers thousands of dollars. At a moment when the federal government is partially shut down, gas prices are above $4 a gallon, families are being cut off from Medicaid and food assistance, and American service members are dying in Iran, our military resources should not be toys for celebrity friends of the president.

This incident raises serious questions. Were flight regulations violated? Was the route altered to pass over a private residence? Did anyone with political connections request or encourage the flyover? And why is a MAGA entertainer publicly threatening that military discipline won't apply because of his friendship with the president?

We demand that Congress launch a full public investigation into the Kid Rock helicopter incident and any political interference in the flight plan.
