Tell Congress: Increase funding for cancer research

Progress in the fight against cancer is possible, but not guaranteed. Cancer research is delivering lifesaving breakthroughs, treatments, and cures, but progress depends on consistent federal investment.

Only a small fraction of new ideas for ways to prevent cancer, methods to treat the disease, and cures get the funding they need to move forward. Too many ideas that have the potential to save lives are left on the table because there simply isn't enough funding to support them. 

In 2026, there are 5,790 new cancer diagnoses and 1,720 deaths from cancer in the U.S. every single day. 

Sign the petition now to tell Congress: cancer patients and families cannot wait. Reject any proposed cuts and increase cancer research funding in this year's budget bill to continue to spur progress in the fight against cancer.
