Tell Congress: Impeach HHS Secretary RFK Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s tenure as HHS Secretary has endangered public health—and Congress must act now to remove him.

At yesterday’s Senate Finance Committee hearing, RFK Jr. faced bipartisan condemnation for dismantling critical vaccine programs and sowing confusion amid a rising COVID‑19 surge.

His track record shows a disturbing pattern of undermining science and public trust. He fired the CDC Director, dismissed the entire vaccine advisory committee, canceled hundreds of millions in vaccine contracts, and restricted COVID vaccine access—even as cases rise across the country. These decisions have seriously impaired our nation’s ability to respond to public health threats.

Several Republican senators, including Senator Bill Cassidy, a physician, voiced deep alarm. Cassidy warned that Kennedy has chosen to “cast doubt” rather than use evidence to build public confidence in vaccines. He also raised concerns about Kennedy’s decision to appoint anti-vaccine ideologues to critical advisory panels. Other Republican senators echoed the concern, criticizing Kennedy’s actions as reckless and driven by ideology rather than science.

RFK Jr.’s misleading statements under oath during his January confirmation hearing—especially about his motivations for firing key health advisors and his communications with extremist actors—represent a serious breach of public trust. Perjury cannot be tolerated, especially from a Cabinet official tasked with safeguarding public health.

We are in the midst of a national crisis. As COVID‑19 cases surge once again, the nation needs clarity, competence, and science-based leadership. Instead, RFK Jr. is promoting conspiracy theories, gutting life-saving programs, and spreading dangerous misinformation from the highest levels of government.

Congress has a constitutional obligation to act. The health and safety of millions are at stake. Impeachment is not just justified—it is necessary.

Sign now to demand that Congress impeach Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for perjury, abuse of office, and endangering public health.
