Tell Congress: Don’t Let Trump Ban Pride Flags

Donald Trump just said he would consider banning Pride flags in Washington, D.C.—even from private homes and businesses. Congress must stop it from happening.

Trump’s attack isn’t about flags—it’s about erasing LGBTQ+ people and silencing a community that has fought for generations to be visible, safe, and free. He made it clear he would “have no problem” with ripping Pride flags off private property.

If Congress doesn’t act, this assault on LGBTQ+ rights could spread nationwide.

Tell Congress: “Defend the civil rights of LGBTQ+ Americans and all of us. Don’t let Trump ban pride flags.”

We know where this leads. When leaders criminalize symbols of pride, they’re really criminalizing the people those flags represent. That’s why Congress must step in now to block Trump’s plan and defend the right of every person to fly Pride flags without fear.

Pride flags save lives. They tell LGBTQ+ youth they are not alone. They signal to families and neighbors that love is stronger than hate. They show the world that America still aspires to liberty and equality.

Trump and his Republican allies want to strip away even this simple, powerful expression of identity and hope. We cannot let them succeed.

Sign now to tell Congress to make it clear: banning Pride flags is unconstitutional, un-American, and unacceptable.

The petition to Congress reads: “Defend the civil rights of LGBTQ+ Americans and all of us. Don’t let Trump ban pride flags.”
