Tell Congress: Audit Trump’s Ballroom

Trump is putting at least 350 million of your hard-earned tax dollars toward his crooked vanity ballroom.

For months, he hid behind a lie: promising that taxpayers wouldn’t pay a dime. He bragged that megadonors and giant corporations like Lockheed Martin, Coinbase, and Amazon would foot the bill – buying massive influence in the process.

But now, he’s broken yet another promise by secretly redirecting hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to operating this lavish ballroom, all without congressional approval or public visibility.

Everyday Americans are getting the worst of both worlds: We’re paying for his vanity project out of our own pockets, and we’ll pay again when these corporate donors demand deregulation, tax breaks, and cuts to crucial programs in return for their generous “donations.”

Courts have halted this scheme for now, but with Trump appealing it to the Supreme Court, we need Congress to step in and demand full accountability before it’s too late.

Several lawmakers are doing their jobs and calling for an independent audit by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to reveal the truth about this project – but Speaker Johnson and Majority Leader Thune are conspicuously silent. It’s time to demand better.

SIGN THE PETITION: Demand that Speaker Johnson and Majority Leader Thune back a full audit of Trump’s ballroom, the taxpayer dollars being used, and the influence its corporate backers are trying to buy >>
