Tell Amazon: Stop selling bee-killing pesticides

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy,

I'm calling on Amazon to discontinue its sales of products containing bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides.

Both honey and native bee populations across the U.S. have been plummeting and the use of neonicotinoids — a class of pesticides so potent a single teaspoon can theoretically kill more than a billion bees — is partly to blame.

Considering the devastating impact these pesticides have on vital pollinators, it’s critical that they are removed from your virtual shelves as soon as possible.

By no longer selling neonicotinoid pesticides, Amazon can help forge a path toward a greener future that supports the natural relationship between healthy plants and pollinators.

For the sake of bees, plants and all of us who benefit from this delicate relationship, I'm urging Amazon to stop selling neonicotinoid pesticides.
