Tell ABC: Resist Censorship. Don't Let Trump Silence Kimmel.

Donald Trump just silenced one of his loudest critics — and ABC helped him do it.

On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel told the truth about how the Trump administration is exploiting the tragic death of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk to stoke its war on the left. Kimmel said, “They’re using Charlie Kirk’s death as a political weapon. That’s what they do — turn grief into propaganda.” He was right. And for that, Trump’s FCC Chair Brendan Carr publicly threatened ABC’s broadcast license. Within hours, ABC yanked Kimmel off the air.

Presidents don’t get to decide who is allowed on TV. By bowing to Trump’s threats, ABC handed him a dangerous victory — proof that intimidation works.

Tell ABC: “Don’t let Trump censor the media. Put Jimmy Kimmel back on the air IMMEDIATELY.”

This is not abstract. Carr is wielding the full power of the federal government to punish dissent — openly threatening ABC’s ability to broadcast nationwide if it doesn’t silence Trump’s critics. That is authoritarian censorship, plain and simple.

This fight is bigger than Jimmy Kimmel. It’s about whether corporations like ABC will defend free expression — or help the president shred it. If they give in now, Trump’s FCC will soon threaten every media outlet that dares to criticize him. That’s how authoritarianism takes hold — one act of surrender at a time.

If ABC won’t resist today, no critic is safe tomorrow. Public pressure is the only way to force them to reverse course — and together, we can make it impossible for them to ignore this outrage.

Tell ABC: Stop caving to Trump. Put Jimmy Kimmel back on the air — and prove that free speech still matters in America.

The petition to ABC reads: “Don’t let Trump censor the media. Put Jimmy Kimmel back on the air IMMEDIATELY.”
