With well-funded extremist groups trying to undermine public education, it's more important than ever that we stand together to promote, protect and strengthen our public schools. We need to show that a majority of Americans actually want honest, equitable, fully funded public education.

Join the #PublicSchoolStrong movement and commit to showing up at your local school board meetings. Speak up for education that's accurate and that includes the voices and stories of everyone, no matter their race, gender, or background. And commit to standing against book bans and budget cuts!

Our public schools are the foundation of a multiracial democracy. It's on us, the majority of people in this country, to rise and make our public schools strong, honest, safe, and equitable.
