Stop Trump's Plan to Force Gazans Into Ghettos

The Trump administration is helping design walled compounds in Gaza which amount to modern-day ghettos. We cannot let the United States play a role in locking an entire population behind barbed wire.

The New York Times reports that U.S. officials are working with Israel to build fortified “compounds” to confine displaced Palestinians under military control. Euro-Med Monitor calls the scheme “forced ghettoisation, annexation, mass detention, and resource plunder.” UN officials say the plan may violate core international law and entrench a system of separation for generations.

Yet Trump is pushing the UN Security Council to endorse the plan—and a vote could come any day. Congress must stop it.

Tell Congress: “Stop Trump’s plan to force Gazans into ghettos. Block every dollar, every weapon, and every diplomatic push that would let the U.S. help cage Palestinian families in militarized compounds.”

Trump’s plan is forced segregation. It denies Palestinians the basic rights owed to every civilian in conflict. And it positions the U.S. as an architect of a system designed to control, contain, and dominate an entire people.

Congress can stop this. Lawmakers can block any U.S. funding, military involvement, or diplomatic support for these compounds. They can forbid the administration from pressuring the UN to legitimize them. When Congress takes a stand, global pressure follows—and Trump is forced to change course.

If we stay silent, the U.S. will help build a ghetto system that could define Gaza’s future for decades.
